Lasta Transport Company

The activity of “Lasta” is divided into six fields, namely: transport, tourism, catering, trade, services and production. Depending on the needs and possibilities, each of these activities is aarranged in the framework of the particular
profit-making organizations.

Passenger transport is carried out in all aspects of bus transport: international transport on the territory of the major part of Europe; intercity transport on the whole territory of former Yugoslavia and the larger part of the Republic Srpska; local transport on the municipal territory and urban transport in the particular towns, locations of the “Lasta” profit-making organizations and working units: Smederevo, Smederevska Palanka, Mladenovac, Sopot, Barajevo, Lazarevac, Obrenovac, Stara Pazova, Indjija, Valjevo and Ljubovija, and also on the territory of some of the neighbouring municipalities (Pecinci, Lajkovac, Mionica, Osecina) along with also the suburban transport on the territory of the town of Belgrade and part of Srem region (municipal Stara Pazova and Pecinci) and Banat region (municipality Opovo); the contracted transport of workers of the big economic system and elementary and secondary school pupils, as well as off-line/route transport in the country and abroad for the requirements of its own tourist agencies, and bus hire service to other companies.

“Lasta” reenders also the tourist services through the network of its own agencies in Belgrade, Smederevo, Lazarevac, Stara Pazova, Indjija, Valjevo and Kragujevac. “Lasta” tourist agencies offer full tourist seervices to the citizens and groups – starting from the ticket sale to the package tour sale.

Tyre protection program for the requireements of the Company and other road carriers and transport operators is handled by the Working Unit “Bandag” within the Business Organization “Lasta-Komerc” .

Almost all “Lasta” bus stations also incorporate catering facilities. Bus station restaurants offeer full range of catering services to the passengers and driving staff. In addition to few facilities owned by “Lasta”, bus stations also include retail shops and stores of other firms. Wholesale, first of all spare parts, is operated by BO “Lasta-Komerc”. Maintenance and service of “Lasta” vehicle pool are performed in its auto-centers and auto-bases dispersed in all towns where “Lasta” profit-making organizations are situated. Some of the “Lasta” auto-center also provides the services of vehicle technical inspection for the requirements of citizens.

Advertising services/campaigns on “Lasta” vehicles and facilities are most frequently utilized by the business partners of the Company and interested local firms.
