“Lasta” is engaged in passenger transport on the territory of all municipalities of the town of Belgrade. It also operates the local tranport on the territory of municipalities Mladenovac, Sopot, Lazarevac, Obrenovac, Grocka and Barajevo.

In addition to the territory of the town of Belgrade, “Lasta” maintains also the local transport on the territory of municipalities Smederevo, S.Palanka, Stara Pazova, Indjija, Valjevo, Lajkovac, Pecinci, Mionica, Osecna and Ljubovija.

“Lasta” suburban line network spreads radially from Belgrade towards the suburban municipal centers, wherefrom the passenger are transported to smaller towns by “Lasta” local lines. Transport market on the territory of LTS-based trabsport of passengers is operated by “Lasta” with 277 lines and/or 2 142 departures on working days, with an average mileage of 1 527 780 km. Suburban buses depart from Bus Station “Lasta” in Belgrade and with terminals in Zemun (Quay of Liberation), Vozdovac, Sumice and Banovo Brdo and from the Railway Station Danube.

“Lasta” runs the transport of passengers on the territory of muni-cipalities Mladenovac, Sopot, Lazarevac, Obrenovac, Grocka and Barajevo, and within the suburban transport by which these mu-nicipalities are connected to the 10 central municipalities.

Suburban traffic on the territory of the town of Belgrade operates within the “Lasta” tariff system (LTS). Monthly prepaid tickets allow the passengers to use, with one ticket, unlimited number of bus rides on the lines defined on the applicable territory.

The area of LTS covers the administrative territory of the city of Belgrade, and is applied to all suburban and local transport lines of Lasta.

LTS system does not apply to republic lines of suburban nature that operate in the territory of Upper and Lower Srem and Banat, i.e. prepaid tickets valid for the area of Upper and Lower Srem and Banat are not valid for suburban and local transport lines in the territory of city of Belgrade and vice versa.

A new tariff system has been introduced for the lines operating in the territory of Srem and Banat:

INFORMATION ON APPLICATION OF THE NEW TARIFF SYSTEM ON LINES OF SP LASTA a.d. BELGRADE

As of 1/01/2009 a new tariff system of charge is applied on REPUBLIC LINES OF SUBURBAN NATURE (LINES OPERATING IN THE TERRITORY OF SREM AND BANAT), with a special type and layout of MONTHLY prepaid tickets, while the applicable territory (territory of validity of SUBURBAN PREPAID TICKETS) is limited to the administrative territory of the city of Belgrade, without the right to use them on lines operating on the TERRITORY OF SREM AND BANAT.

This new tariff system for monthly prepaid tickets is based on the following principles:

1. The existing borders of the zones, which approximately have the shape of concentric circles, remain the same for monthly prepaid tickets.
2. Within the existing tariff system for monthly prepaid tickets, with four zones in the LTS, new segmented tariff zones are introduced in the territory of Srem and Banat:
2.1. Segments covering the territory of Lower Srem and Banat and spreading radially towards the centre of Belgrade in the direction of transport lines. These segments are limited by the territory of Lower Srem and/or Banat and are intersected with four existing zone borders for the monthly prepaid tickets. Monthly prepaid tickets for the corresponding zones can be used in any of two segments mentioned, i.e. in the territory of Lower Srem or Banat.
2.2. Segment covering the territory of Upper Srem and spreading radially in the direction of lines towards the centre of Belgrade. This segment is limited by the territory of Upper Srem and is intersected with the existing borders for the first two zones for monthly prepaid tickets. Monthly prepaid tickets for the corresponding zones can be used only within the segment i.e. on the lines operating in the territory of the Upper Srem.
2.3. Along with the segmented tariff areas mentioned above, the existing LTS, applied in the entire administrative territory of the City, is also applied in the territory of the City, from which the territory of Srem and Banat, i.e. all the lines connecting Belgrade with these areas, is excluded starting from 01/01/2009.

TICKET – MONTHLY PREPAID TICKET SYSTEM

Special monthly prepaid tickets are used in the territory of Srem and Banat, namely, one type of prepaid tickets for the area of the Lower Srem and Banat, and another type of prepaid tickets for the area of the Upper Srem.
Monthly prepaid ticket is issued for a certain number of travel zones, and it gives the passenger the right to unlimited bus rides on the lines entered in the transport ID card.
Until further notice, unique transport ID cards (document in which the prepaid tickets are inserted) apply for all segments in Srem and Banat and for suburban lines. Hence, only prepaid tickets differ depending on the applicable territory.

MANNER OF APPLICATION OF MONTHLY PREPAID TICKETS

1. Stretch of the Lower Srem and Banat exploited by PO “Lasta Avala”
For these two segments a unique prepaid ticket is issued and is valid for one, two, three or four zones in both segments, which correspond to the zones indicated in the transport ID card.
Among other, these prepaid tickets have the following written out: “DONJI SREM I BANAT” and “PO AVALA”.
These monthly tickets are valid only in the corresponding zones (entered in the transport ID card) in the territory of the Lower Srem and Banat, but are not valid for the territory of the Upper Srem and the suburban lines of Lasta (LTS).
Passengers using transport services in the territory of the Lower Srem and Banat do not have a possibility to buy an overall prepaid ticket valid for both the lines mentioned in the Lower Srem and Banat and for the lines covered by ITS.

2. Stretch of the Upper Srem exploited by PO “Lasta Srem”
For this segment a unique prepaid ticket is issued and is valid for one or two zones in this segment, which correspond to the zones indicated in the transport ID card.
Among other, these prepaid tickets have the following written out: “GORNJI SREM” and “PO SREM”.

These monthly tickets are valid only in the corresponding zones (entered in the transport ID card) in the territory of the Upper Srem, but are not valid for the territory of the Lower Srem and Banat and the suburban lines of Lasta (LTS).
Passengers using transport services in the territory of the Upper Srem do not have a possibility to buy an overall prepaid ticket valid for the mentioned lines in the Upper Srem and the lines covered by ITS.

3. Along with the previously mentioned tariff territories for monthly prepaid tickets, the tariff system on suburban lines of LTS remains in application. LTS prepaid tickets shall be valid for the entire territory originally defined, except for the territory of Srem and Banat where the above mentioned prepaid tickets apply.
Passengers still have a possibility to buy joint monthly prepaid tickets for suburban lines of Lasta (excluding the territory of Srem and Banat) and ITS.

PREPAID TICKETS FOR PRIVILEGED CATEGORIES

Prepaid tickets for students and senior citizens
The following persons are entitled to use transport at privileged price:
a) regular students of primary and secondary schools, up to 21years of age,
b) students of two-year post-secondary schools, up to 26 years of age,
c) students of faculties and four-year post-secondary schools, up to 30 years of age,
d) all pensioners in person or family pensioners.
This prepaid ticket is issued for a determined number of travel zones and gives the passengers the right (with an appropriate prepaid ticket) to unlimited bus rides in the territory the route of which corresponds to the zones indicated on the ticket. Students can obtain this ticket under the condition that they attend school and/or faculty on a regular basis.

These persons are entitled to use privileged transport if in possession of the transport ID card and the appropriate monthly prepaid ticket for privileged persons.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS

Prices of individual tickets on the suburban lines are set at the level of prices for passenger transport services in the intercity line road transport of Serbia.
These lines do not admit discounts to the price of individual ticket, e.g. for students, senior citizens, association of journalists, etc.
Children of up to 7 years of age, if not covered by the regular education, shall not pay for transport. Children older than 7 shall pay the full price for transport.

LUGGAGE

Passengers shall pay the price for luggage according to the pricelist applied on the republic lines of SP “Lasta” a.d Belgrade for every piece of luggage except for the hand luggage.
Objects that may injure, stain or disturb passengers or dirty and damage the vehicle are forbidden to be taken onboard.
